BIOGRAPHY
I live and play in the seacoast area of New Hampshire. Although I've written a number of songs over the years, the 2007 RPM Challenge was my first attempt at putting music absolutely first and creating an entire solo album.

Played around with chord progressions...simple, unexpected, pleasing.
Spent a considerable part of the month educating myself on 11/8 time (Clave). It was a great exercise to expand my musical mind.
Sometimes mind expansion can be difficult so I took breaks and had fun with distortion (Sea Seven).

A guitar/vocal map of my emotions this last year:
1-Jazzy joy about love and snorkeling.
2-Funky dance rhythm sans vocal track.
3-Melancholy and longing.
4-Mountain Climbing song you can clog along with.
5-Deep grief on ukulele.
6-Short, sweet little guitar tune.
7-Experiment with percussive quitar - tin can lid, pick vibrations, slide.
